Features 460 recordings of 135 species found in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta of Colombia, a mountain massif separated from the Andes and rising from the Caribbean coast to the highest peak in Colombia at 19,000 feet (5775 m). The mountains exhibit an unparalleled degree of endemism for an area so small (ca. 5900 km2), with no less than 17 endemic species of birds and an additional 53 endemic subspecies. 135 species (including 16 of the 17 endemic species) are presented on the CDs with 460 separate recordings. The booklet is presented in both Spanish and English. The recordings are not announced.
